With Jake Butt done for the year with another ACL tear, Matt LaCosse saw significant playing time for the second straight week, and Brian Parker even got a few snaps.
With Jared Veldheer out, Elijah Wilkinson was not only active, but needed. He got in 12 offensive snaps at the end of the game when Garett Bolles hurt his ankle.
Emmanuel Sanders played nearly every offensive snap last game while Demaryius Thomas was only on the field for 61 percent of the offensive snaps (47/77).
Royce Freeman, despite once again having a high yards-per-carry average (6.2), touched the ball just five times on his 30 snaps. He had been getting the ball an average of 50 percent of the time he was on the field through the first four games, but in Week 5, that dropped to 17 percent. Go figure.

Adam Jones was injured again and only played 15 percent of the defensive snaps against the Jets. Von Miller played a little more than he did in the previous two games but had similar impact, which is very little, on the game.
Bradley Roby only played 74 percent of the snaps, so he may have been feeling sick on Sunday before he made all of us sick with his performance. Domata Peko was in the highest percentage of defensive snaps for him this season, but it didn’t seem to help with run stoppages, mainly because the Jets made a concerted effort to run outside the tackles and attack our corners.
