Evelyn Marie (Nordquist) Sutton

Sutton, Evelyn Marie (Nordquist) 83, of Alexandria (formerly of Brooklyn Center and Maple Grove) passed away peacefully Monday morning March 4th. Raised in Hawley, Minnesota, the youngest daughter of Melvin and Vivian Nordquist. Evelyn was a 1953 High School graduate from the Northwest School of Agriculture in Crookston, MN. Evelyn also went to the University of Minnesota and graduated in 1974 with a degree in Liberal Arts. Evelyn was a great mother, grandmother and friend. Evelyn was always available to help her sons out when needed. She will be greatly missed. She is survived by her sister, Vernie, sons Michael and Jeffrey (Dianne); grandchildren, Crystal, Kali, Kevin, Holly and Casey; 6 great grandchildren (another on the way); nieces and nephews; extended family and friends. A celebration of life will be held this spring near mom's birthplace in Hawley. Interment at Eskjo Lutheran Church Cemetery in Lake Park, MN.
