Mikele Buck, the eastern North Carolina performer appearing now on "The Voice," will be part of a Hurricane Florence relief event later this month.

The annual Boots & BBQ event in Lumberton usually benefits the local hospital. This year proceeds will go to the Southeastern Health Foundation's Hurricane Florence Disaster Relief Fund, with money raised prior to October 1 also going to the health center's maternal / child health department.

The event is Thursday, October 25, from 7 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. at the Southeastern NC Agriculture Center Arena in Lumberton. Tickets are $60 a person, or $600 for a reserved table that seats eight.

For more information, or to buy tickets, visit Boots & BBQ online or contact the SeHealth Foundation at (910) 671-5583. Those interested can also email foundation@southeasternhealth.org.

The 8th annual event was initially scheduled for September 28, but was postponed.
