‘Real Housewives of New York’ stars are selling their clothes

Now you, too, can dress like one of the “Real Housewives of New York.”

Carole RadziwillRamona Singer and Dorinda Medley are selling clothes from their personal wardrobes — including outfits worn on the Bravo show — as part of secondhand retailer ThredUp’s “Shop Her Closet” series. All proceeds will go to the charity of each star’s choice.

The sale will include more than 100 designer items from the three cast members’ closets, including some custom pieces, with prices ranging from $5.99  to $600.

Radziwill’s closet launches today, with Singer’s following on July 25 and Medley’s on the 26.

“I wear what makes me feel confident and authentically me. So I’m not big on ‘trend of the moment’ outfits,” Radziwill, 54, told Page Six. “Fashion is a dress — style is a way of life.”

Among the items Radziwill is selling is a custom gold two-piece outfit she wore to the Staten Island Mermaid Parade.

“It was such an incredible experience,” she said. “Nearly 700,000 people showed up to watch the parade. I had so much fun wearing it, but I think it’s time for it to go, since when would I ever wear it again?” (For what it’s worth, Radziwill added that she also wore the sequined skirt to a wedding, and that it was “a huge hit.”)

And though her wardrobe may be filled with endless designer goodies, Radziwill said she’s a fan of the periodic closet purge. “Don’t romanticize clothing,” she advised. “If you wore it on your first date with your college sweetheart and haven’t looked at it since, let someone else enjoy it. Pay it forward.”

Medley, 53, is selling a printed Mary Katrantzou shift dress ($337) that’s steeped in “Housewives” drama.

“I wore [it] at LuAnn and Tom’s final party to celebrate their wedding,” she said. “I told LuAnn no more parties after this one. She had so many to celebrate her marriage that ended shortly after. I was so over all of the celebrations — enough was enough! And yes, I was sober.”

Added Medley, “I am so happy to donate this dress. I don’t need anything with negative energy in my wardrobe.” Medley said she routinely rids her wardrobe of anything she hasn’t worn in a year.

Longtime fans of the New York “Housewives” will recognize some of Singer’s contributions from the early seasons, including a dress she wore to the Hampton Classic in season 1 that was mocked by the rest of the cast for not suiting the occasion.

“It was rude, and also just incorrect because the outfit actually looked great on me!” Singer, 61, told us.

But Singer admitted that she’s willing to take fashion criticism from her 23-year-old daughter. “Avery will be happy I’m getting rid of some ‘younger’ clothes — even though she calls me ‘ageless,'” Singer said. Such items include an animal-print BCBG Max Azria dress ($52), along with an Anna Argiolera miniskirt and halter top.

Luann de Lesseps is also participating in ThredUp’s “Shop Her Closet” program. In light of her decision to check back into rehab, however, de Lesseps will be launching her sale at a later date.
