Sioux Center, Iowa — #2 Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley was able to overcome a slow start and top Sioux Center 48-6 Friday night in Sioux Center.

After a scoreless first quarter, the Nighthawks were able to jump out to a 21-0 lead at the half. JT Van’t was able to start the scoring for the Nighthawks when he sprinted to the endzone from 31 yards out to make it 7-0 early in the quarter. Then Cody Post was able to beat his defender and be on the receiving end of a 37 yard pass from Van’t Hul to make to 14-0. With a minute left in the half, Spencer Te Slaa caught a 19 yard touchdown to push the score to 21-0.
BHRV continued where the left off in the 2nd half. Beau De Jongh made a leaping grab from fourteen yards out making it 28-0, and Cody Post scored again on a 40 yard pass to make it 35-0.
The Nighthawks scored two more times, and Sioux Center was able to get on the board late and your final would be 48-6.
BHRV improves to 8-1 on the year, and 5-0 in the district. Sioux Center ends their year at 3-6, and 2-3 in the district.
Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley will host their first round playoff game in Rock Valley next Friday.
