Marc-Andre Fleury's diving save had everyone thinking of his most iconic moment

OK, so the stakes were a little lower.

But where have we seen this before?

In the second period of his first matchup as a Las Vegas Golden Knight against the Penguins on Thursday night, Marc-Andre Fleury took us back to first Stanley Cup of the Sidney Crosby era.

With about 6:20 remaining in the period, the puck squirted over to Penguins defenseman Brian Dumoulin, who released a shot from the bottom of the left circle.

And diving to his right was Fleury, whose chest save on the shot was eerily similar to the save he made against Nicklas Lidstrom in the waning seconds of Game 7 of the 2009 Stanley Cup Final against the Detroit Red Wings.

See for yourself.

"I haven't done it too much since," Fleury said after the game. "Quick memory popped up. That was good."

This save didn't help the Penguins win. They lost their third straight game with the 2-1 defeat.

Things were a little more celebratory the last time we saw that save.
