The Funniest Moments From Kristen Wiig's SNL Return (Oh, How We've Missed Her!)

After Kristen Wiig left SNL last year, I wasn't sure how or if the show could survive. But thanks to the addition of some hilarious new ladies (holla at ya, Cecily Strong, Aidy Bryant, and Kate McKinnon) and strong, comedy-gold hosts such as Justin Timberlake and Melissa McCarthy, this season has been stronger than I could have ever predicted. That said, Kristen's triumphant return last night will hands down by my favorite episode this year. The skits featuring her returning characters—The Californians, Target Lady, and the Pointer sisters, to name a few—reminded me that I've missed her goofy humor, but it was the new skits that really made it clear just how much comedy potential the show's missed out on with her departure.
