Courteney Cox shares rare behind-the-scenes 'Friends' photo; Jennifer Aniston stuns fans

Courteney Cox just posted the most bittersweet "throwback Thursday" for "Friends" fans, and her former co-star Jennifer Aniston had her own fun reminiscing about the show.

The actress, 55, shared a seemingly never-before-seen photo of herself and the rest of the cast of the popular television series to her Instagram Thursday.

"'The Last Supper' before taping 'The Last One' on Jan 23, 2004," she captioned the image with the hashtags #tbt and #friends.

In the photo, Cox (who played Monica on the show) is resting her head against Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe), who is sitting next to a smirking Matthew Perry (Chandler).

On the other side of the table, which is piled high with food, Jennifer Aniston (Rachel) is smiling with her arms extended towards Perry and Matt LeBlanc (Joey).

Aniston's on-screen love interest David Schwimmer (Ross) is smiling in between her and LeBlanc.

Cox's followers loved the image, with the post garnering over 2.5 million likes and over 32,000 comments.

Some of those comments came from her co-stars.

Aniston shared three crying emojis, while Kudrow wrote "Awwwww" with a surprised face and heart emoji.

David Spade joked that he was "cropped again" from the image of the group.

Actress and comedian Whitney Cummings pointed out: "You and Jens hands are on so many thighs lol."

On Thursday, Aniston also had some "Friends"-related fun.

While acting as guest host on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," the actress surprised fans visiting the show's set on a Warner Brothers studio tour.

As fans sat on the iconic yellow couch of Central Perk coffee shop for photos, Aniston popped up to surprise unsuspecting tour-goers.

"Hi! What's happening?" Aniston asked two girls, who were too shocked to respond.

Eventually one replied, "Is it real? Am I dreaming?"

The sitcom, which ran from 1994 to 2004, is still popular among fans.

During an October 2019 appearance on "The Howard Stern Show," Aniston said she misses the show "every day."
