A MALTON funeral care service has celebrated its first anniversary.
The Co-operative Malton Funeralcare has thanked all who attended its anniversary celebration and dedication on Wednesday, January 24.
Town councillors from Malton and Norton were represented at the event, as were local charities, including the co-op's local causes for the region - Scarborough and Ryedale Carers, Malton Castle Gardens and Ryedale Foodbank - as well as local businesses, colleagues and clients.
Malton’s town mayor Paul Andrews gave a warm welcome to guests and the branch was dedicated by Reverend Rachel Hirst of St Peter’s Church in Norton.
Entertainment was provided by soloist mezzo-soprano Kathleen Linton-Ford, and a Bonneville Triumph Motorcycle Hearse was displayed outside the branch by Wayne Roome, from Motorcycle Funerals Limited.
