Serious question. Brook seems determined to stay at 154 and chase real competition. I doubt he will fight Lara next, and although either Charlo bro is available I think Brook can beat both.

Trout seems to have shifted to gatekeeper level in the eyes of fans. Personally, I think he's underrated and would give a good fight vs. Brook. Is Trout too hittable? Or is he slick enough to pull off the win?

    Thoughts?

I think Brook would handle him quite easily to be honest. Trout hasn't looked good since he lost to Canelo. People crticized some of Brook's mandatories since Porter, but bare in mind Dan, Gavin and Bizier are far superior to Daniel Dawson who Trout went life and death with and was dropped twice. Brook in 6 would be my pick.

Would be a good comeback opponent though for Brook to make a 154 statement.

I thought Trout looked pretty good vs. Jermall tbh.
I think Brook hasn't fought anyone as slick as Trout before. But hey, I could be wrong.

I don't really rate either Charlo, as far as world champions go, I think they are both mediocre fighters.

I think where Trout would come undone, is I think all he has is slickness- and he's not even all that slick. He has little in the way of plan B. Watch his fight with Lara. It was clear he couldn't outbox Lara in round 1, yet he kept trying to do just that and lost every round.

Brook is a much more complete fighter, he's very good in every area with no real weakness. Once Brook has judged the distance against Trout- and it wouldn't take him long but Brook's best quality is his ability to judge distances- it would be one way traffic

good matchup for brook.. trout isnt a serious puncher at the weight, quite skilled andhas a good chin. Would be a good first 154 fight. Could it happen though? There wouldn't be any money to put the fight on in america & nobody knows trout in the UK.. i'm sure it'd be the same scenario like alot of brooks fights. They want stupid money to come to the UK, money that just isn't available.

Not even sure brook would fancy the fight either tbh, by the way he talks he wants huge NAMES, nobody knows trout and it'd be quite a small fight over here, can't imagine it getting much media attention and as i said nobody knows trout

Brook would get KO'd by the Charlo's, his defence is very suspect, when he isn't bigger than his opponent.
