“Bachelor” Host Chris Harrison And Wife Gwen Jones To Divorce

Chris Harrison is about to be a bachelor. The host of “The Bachelor” and his wife, Gwne Jones, announced today that they were filing for divorce after 18-years of marriage.

In a joint statement the couple wrote:

“Though we have made this incredibly difficult decision to separate, our love and mutual respect remain, and we look forward to sharing in the lives of our wonderful children.”

People Magazine reports that Harrison and Jones have a son Joshua, 9, and a daughter, Taylor, 7 together.

Harrison and Gwen didn’t give an exact reason for the split but the International Business Times reports that Harrison has been accused of cheating in the past. One of the contestants on “The Bachelor” said that Harrison was often seen flirting with one of the female producers of the show.

Harrison denied the accusations and said that his wife found the comments as ridiculous as he did. Harrison said:

“My wife, who I’ve been with since I was 18 and have been married to for over 16 years, was in the audience that night and got as big a laugh out of Rozlyn’s comment as I did.”
