Celebrity Cruises To Return To Port Tampa Bay Next Year

After a 12-year absence, Celebrity Cruises will return to Port Tampa Bay with the Celebrity Constellation.

TAMPA, FL — After a 12-year absence, Celebrity Cruises will return to Port Tampa Bay. The cruiseline announced that Tampa will be the new homeport for Celebrity Constellation, offering alternating 10- and 11-night roundtrip sailings throughout the Caribbean starting the 2020 winter season.

"Our guests and travel advisers have been asking us to return to Tampa since our last call there in 2007," said Lisa Lutoff-Perlo, president and CEO of Celebrity Cruises.

With Tampa's downtown waterfront undergoing a transformation with the $3 billion Water Street project, Lutoff-Perlo said the city is becoming a world-class destination. At the same time, Celebrity Cruises' fleet is undergoing a $500 million modernization.
