Five fire companies respond to Northampton house fire

Emergency officials have confirmed multiple fire companies responded to a house fire in Bird's Nest, Virginia, on Saturday.

Units from Nassawdox, Eastville, Cheirton, Painter and Exmore were dispatched to the house fire in the area of Diamond Road near Bird's Nest at 6:33 p.m.

The Eastville Volunteer Fire Company commanded the scene, according to officials.

No other details were available as of late Sunday morning.
