40 students who studied in the NTec course in the field of Cooking Professional and Services 2017 intake have signed an apprenticeship training agreement with Syarikat Food and Beverages. Also signed was a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between IBTE and PAR Food and Beverages Sendirian Berhad, Jollibee Brunei, Entrek Sendirian Berhad and Restoran dan Cafe Serikandi.

The event was witnessed by Awang Ajman bin Haji Meludin, the Commissioner of Labour. The IBTE believed the scheme can further strengthening lasting partnership with the said industry in providing training to the youth in the country towards fulfilling market demand in the food and beverage industry. IBTE also hoped that more private companies in the food and beverages industry will sign the MOU.
