Meriden Man Arrested For Shooting: Report

A city man has been charged for a New Britain shooting and held on $500,000 bond.

MERIDEN, CT - A city man has been charged in connection with a New Britain shooting, the Meriden Record-Journal reported. Jorge Gonzalez, 37, of 57 Prospect St., was charged with criminal attempt to commit first-degree assault, illegal discharge of a firearm, carrying a dangerous weapon, first-degree reckless endangerment, possession of a weapon inside a motor vehicle, criminal use of a weapon, and criminal possession of a firearm.

Gonzalez was allegedly involved in a dispute and fired shots at another person. He was held on $500,000 bond.
