Lubbock tattoo artist Mike Diaz remains uncut from Ink Master, a televised tattoo contest in its 10th season on Spike TV, which airs at 9 p.m. CST. on Tuesdays.

Diaz, who owns Sunken City Ink on 34th Street and was featured in an A-J article about his work, is now one of 11 tattoo artists competing for $100,000 after the end of the seventh week. The artists compete in weekly tattoo-style challenges.

In the latest episode of the show, tattoo artist Gary Parisi of Chicago was cut from the show following a flash challenge focusing on the contestant’s consistency, according to a show news release.
