How is the traffic heading to the Penn State game?

It looks like early morning travelers to Saturday's football game at Penn State will encounter few problems along Route 322.

As of 7:30 a.m., there were no reported crashes or delays along the westbound lanes between Harrisburg and State College, except for one area.

Moderate traffic is being reported at the point of road construction at a choke-point on Route 322 near Seven Mountains and Potters Mill Gap in Centre County, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.

The highway is down to one lane in each direction from the Mifflin County line to Decker Valley Road.

Traffic is running smoothing on both side of the construction area.

There were also no reported problems along major routes west and north of the State College area leading to the game including Route 220, Interstate 99 and Route 26.

Kickoff against Akron is scheduled for noon.
