Taylor Swift Removed Her False Eyelashes Mid-Performance and Fans Are Flipping Out

“Imagine catching one of Taylor Swift’s fake eyelashes.”

There's no telling what you'll encounter during a Taylor Swift performance. The singer is known for making her concerts something special, with past highlights including surprise guests, support from Gigi Hadid, and even a mid-concert engagement. For her latest concert, the singer pulled off an epic change in her makeup routine — mid-performance.

During a weekend show in Sydney, Australia, Taylor didn't let a downpour rain on her concert parade. As pointed out by Billboard, the singer pulled off her fake eyelashes in the middle of a performance. The moment, which is now part of Swiftie social media history, had Taylor beginning to sing "Don't Blame Me." As she walks across the stage, she stops, pulls off one eyelash, continues singing, and then pulls off another.

Fans of the singer have reacted with immense support for the move. One fan joked about the possibility of securing one of the tossed lashes, writing, "Imagine catching one of Taylor Swift’s fake eyelashes." While another Twitter user doubted they would ever forget the moment, writing, "Taylor Alison Swift really just pulled off her fake eyelashes and then took us all to church And I'm never gonna get over it."

The makeup move has even been dubbed an IRL summary of her tour, with one fan tweeting, "taylor ALISON swift actually snaTCHED her own eyelashes before she sung the high note in don’t blame me. if that doesn’t sum up the rep tour idk what will."

Taylor has yet to reveal how the rest of us can remove our makeup while staying on beat, but she did thank fans for joining in on the rainy fun. "FULL RAIN SHOW TONIGHT IN SYDNEY," she wrote on Instagram. "We had the absolute time of our LIVES with you. It poured consistently for the first 90% of the show and we all got to jump around together in a storm, what a dream."
