Harvey Keitel, fresh off the success of his Oscar-nominated turn in 'Bugsy,' stumbled on the script of the then-unknown Tarantino and agreed to co-produce the movie. The 'Mean Streets' actor's clout helped get the movie made; his condition to the studio was that Tarantino be allowed to direct his own movie. Keitel's part as Mr. Wolf in 'Pulp Fiction' was Tarantino's thank you present for the actor's support. But Keitel got plenty out of his starring role in 'Reservoir Dogs,' too, parlaying his Hollywood resurgence to work steadily over the next two decades. The now 73-year-old Keitel can be seen in 2012's critically acclaimed 'Moonrise Kingdom.'

All of Nina Siemaszko's lines were cut out of the theatrical release, but were restored on the 10th anniversary DVD. We're partial: the talented actress, who plays police officer McKlusky in the movie, is none other than the sister of the Daily News ace rewriteman Corky Siemaszko. She's been on 'The West Wing' and appeared in episodes of 'Cold Case.'

He became No. 1 with a bullet. Quentin Tarantino went from a store clerk at the Video Archives in Manhattan Beach, Calif., to one of the hottest power players in Hollywood with the critical success of 'Reservoir Dogs.' His next movie, 1994's 'Pulp Fiction,' fully showed the budding auteur's potential, nabbing the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay and reviving John Travolta's career in the process. Though Tarantino's record proved spotty and not very prolific over the next decade ('Jackie Brown,' 'Grindhouse'), he made a heck of a comeback with the Oscar-nominated 'Inglorious Basterds' in 2009 and this year's 'Django Unchained.'

Don't bother looking, you won't see Steven Wright in a single frame of 'Reservoir Dogs.' But the New York-born comedian with the distinctive deadpan delivery lent his voice to the film as the memorable DJ K-Billy, whose Super Sounds of '70s provide the soundtrack to the movie. After a string of memorable turns in movies throughout the '90s - including 'Natural Born Killers,' 'Mixed Nuts,' 'Babe, Pig in the City' and 'Loser' - Wright is back to doing his stand-up routine on the road.

Mr. Blonde may be the highest profile role of Michael Madsen's long career, but the now 55 year old had played a number of memorable thugs and rogues over the years. From a killer in 1989's 'Kill Me Again' to a mobster in 1997's 'Donnie Brasco' to the bad-ass Bud in Tarantino's 'Kill Bill' movies, Madsen has cornered the part of tough guy in Hollywood. Most recently he served alongside Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) in the final season of '24,' and was a contestant on Britain's 'Celebrity Big Brother 9' in January 2012.

Tarantino's long-time producer, Lawrence Bender, began his long-standing partnership with the director on 'Reservoir Dogs,' and jumped in front of the camera in a cameo as a running police officer during the heist sequence. Fresh off their acclaimed 'Inglorious Basterds,' Bender and Tarantino were reportedly supposed to be working on 'Kill Bill: Vo. 3' but in a 2012 interview, Tarantino said the film probably wont happen.

Roger Avary, a fellow clerk who worked with Tarantino at a video store, contributed the background radio dialogue in 'Reservoir Dogs, according to IMDB.com. The pair would go on to co-write 'Pulp Fiction' two years later, and Avary would briefly emerge from his friend's giant shadow as a director with 2002's 'Rules of Attraction.' Avary, however, was destined to have a much more tragic arc to his own story: he served a year in prison after a vehicular manslaughter conviction. Avary, now 47 years old, is working on the script for an untitled Ian Fleming Biopic.

Christopher Walkin, James Woods and George Clooney weren't in 'Reservoir Dogs'... but they could have been, according to IMDB.com. Clooney, before he became a superstar, auditioned for the role of Mr. Blonde, but didn't get the part. He was in good company as Samuel Jackson also unsuccessfully auditioned for the role of Mr. Orange that went ultimately to Tim Roth. Walken passed on the movie, a decision he reportedly later regretted and made up for by snagging a part in Tarantino's 'Pulp Fiction' two years later. Woods' agent rejected Tarantino's overtures, which the actor didn't learn until years later. Woods was so incensed by that decision that it contributed to his decision to hire a new agent, according to IMDB.com.

Harvey and Bob Weinstein had already made a name for their company with Sundance-favorite indie hits, but 'Reservoir Dogs' really put Miramax on the map. Films like 'Pulp Fiction,' 'Clerks,' and even the Academy Award-winning 'Shakespeare in Love' followed as Miramax became the preeminent independent studio in the business. The Weinsteins sold their company to Disney in 1993 and left twelve years later, desperately trying to buy back the company named for their parents, Miriam and Max. Disney, however, sold the company to Filmyard Holdings for $663 million. The brothers founded The Weinstein Company in 2005, and are the distributors behind the 2013 Oscar nominated 'Django Unchained' and 'Silver Linings Playbook.'

Quentin Tarantino is finally settling down.

The legendary director is engaged to girlfriend Daniela Pick, according to the Times of Israel.

“We’re very happy and excited,” the Israeli singer, 33, told the newspaper.

Tarantino, 54, met Pick in 2009 while he was in Israel promoting “Inglourious Basterds.”

They have stayed relatively quiet about their relationship over the last eight years, although they did attend several film premieres together last year.

The same year, Tarantino told GQ that he had “made a choice, so far, to go on this road alone.”

“Because this is my time,” he told the magazine. “This is my time to make movies.”

In November, the “Reservoir Dogs” director said he plans to retire after two more movies.

“Drop the mic. Boom. Tell everybody, ‘Match that sh–,'” he said at the Adobe Max creativity conference in San Diego.
