Bremen HS Softball Team Opens Season in Sunny Tennessee

The team took a trip to Cookeville, Tennessee to participate in the 8th Annual Gordonsville High School Varsity Softball Tournament

The Bremen High School Varsity Softball team opened the 2018 season with a road trip to the south, in hopes of finding sunny spring weather! The team took a trip to Cookeville, Tennessee to participate in the 8th Annual Gordonsville High School Varsity Softball Tournament. All BHS players had an opportunity to compete in four games versus a variety of Tennessee teams. Coaches Renee Yunker, Nicholas Fuentes, and Andrew French wanted to take this opportunity to help the athletes gain the experience necessary to be competitive in their conference this season. “It was truly a great way to increase team unity and overall game experience,” said Head Coach Renee Yunker, “The girls enjoyed the sunny weather and the ability to showcase their talents.” Although softball was the first priority of the trip, it also was a great opportunity for their team morale and team building with team dinners and many hours on the bus together!
