  1. Post update

Three games, 10 goals. That's a pretty good return so far from this weekend's European football action.

Next up, Manchester United. They face Celta Vigo in their Europa League semi-final first leg tomorrow. Can they keep the goal train chugging along? Join us to find out.

  2. When's the second leg?

    Monaco 0-2 Juventus

The good thing for Monaco is they don't have to dwell on this defeat for long. The second leg is next Tuesday.

  3. 'We'll try everything'

    Monaco 0-2 Juventus

Monaco midfielder Fabinho: "They were better and deserved to win but we're going to try everything in the return match."

    Monaco 0-2 Juventus

Juventus defender Giorgio Chiellini on BT Sport: "2-0 away is a important result. We are very happy with that. Sometimes we can do things better in the defensive phase and also with the ball.

"We have to congratulate Dani Alves and Gonzalo Higuain - sometimes we look to Gianluigi Buffon. We concede chances but when they come we have Gigi.

"If we arrive in the final we will approach it in a different way to two years ago."

  5. 'He looks like he's won a competition'

    Monaco 0-2 Juventus

    Ian Wright

Former Arsenal striker on BT Sport

Sometimes when you look at Gonzalo Higuain you think 'what's wrong with him?' He looks like he's won a competition.

But when he gets a head of steam up he looks good. Those chances for the goals, he's not had to think about them.

  7. Post update

Is there any hope for Monaco?

In a word, no. Only two teams have ever overturned a home first-leg defeat in the Champions League era, and both only lost 0-1. Ajax beat Panathinaikos in the 1996 semi-finals when they won 3-0 away and Inter overcame Bayern in the last-16 in 2010 after winning 3-2 away.

The last time Juventus lost by two goals at home was in April 2013.

It's a massive task for Monaco, but they've got plenty of goals in their side and a Monaco side with nothing to lose could be frightening.

  9. 'It isn't over'

    Monaco 0-2 Juventus

Juventus striker Gonzalo Higuain: "I fight so hard for these moments. I'm delighted with the goals but this isn't over yet.

"Goals were not coming for me in this competition but I knew I just had to stay calm and keep working hard. We also wanted another clean sheet and we are delighted with the result.”

    Monaco 0-2 Juventus

Monaco fans were subdued - more so than usual - was it because they didn't know how to react to not seeing a goal for their side?

Not since November 2015 have Monaco failed to score at the Stade Louis II - 41 matches ago.

  11. 'A level (or two) above the Premier League'

    Monaco 0-2 Juventus

    Rory Smith

Chief Soccer Correspondent for The New York Times

Juve play some absolutely brilliant football.

The thing that strikes me in the Champions League is the standard of the European sides like Juve, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, is one, two levels above anything we have in the Premier League at the moment.

    Monaco 0-2 Juventus

Will this be the year that Gianluigi Buffon finally becomes a Champions League winner? With 47 clean sheets in 106 Champions League appearances, he certainly deserves it.

Once again he was excellent tonight, denying Monaco from the couple of very good chances they had.

Superb display by Juventus. The complete side. Magnificent goalkeeper & defence as well as invention & threat going forward. Monaco subdued.

    Monaco 0-2 Juventus

It has now been over 600 minutes since Juventus last conceded a goal.

I worry Gianluigi Buffon's back will go when he finally does have to collect the ball out of his own net.

Stavros: No way Ronaldo will score a hat-trick against this defence and goalkeeper. Juventus are the definition of an organised team

  17. Post update

    Monaco 0-2 Juventus

    Chris Sutton

Ex-Chelsea striker for 5 live Sport

It was quite an open game before that second goal but it has just knocked all the belief out of Monaco.

  18. Post update

    Monaco 0-2 Juventus

Up goes the fourth official's board... three additional minutes.

Juventus are playing it safe now, holding the ball down by the corner flag.

  19. CLOSE!

    Monaco 0-2 Juventus

Monaco get another free-kick in almost the exact same position as the one they had a few minutes earlier and Joao Moutinho delivers an even better ball. Valere Germain meets it and heads at goal but the excellent Gianluigi Buffon pushes the ball over his bar. Big save.

  20. SUBSTITUTION

    Monaco 0-2 Juventus

Final change for Juventus as Miralem Pjanic is replaced by Mario Lemina for the final couple of minutes.
