A wanted fugitive has taunted cops with vile jokes about missing Brit Madeleine McCann - months after planning to throw a "100 days on the run" party.

Daley Smith has scrapped plans to celebrate 100 days on the run from the police back in October but hasn't faded from social media, it has emerged.

Smith, from Alsager, is wanted after he was charged over alleged drugs offences with Cheshire Police trying to track him down.

The 29-year-old has revealed that he has no intention of giving himself up to officers over Christmas and New Year in a series of Facebook posts.

The Mirror reports in a vile 'rap' he mocked the force by joking they would have a better chance of finding missing child Madeleine McCann than him.

He quipped: "Cheshire Police have got more chance of finding Madeleine McCann.

"I may as well be in Japan, they've even been harassing my nan but everything hasn't gone to plan.

"They've f****d with the wrong man, I feel like Peter Pan.

"So far I don't know how far I've ran but it's been mad since this journey began."

In an update posted on December 1, Smith said: "What's on my mind?

"Well Facebook, I'm just thinking that June 6 will be a year to the day that I ripped my curfew off and hit the missing list.

"I'm 30 on April 30, I spent my 21st in jail and it was a Friday night, absolutely destroyed me, loneliest feeling ever.

"My next big birthday would be my 40th. Now I'm not gna lie, I'm half tempted to give the year a good go.

"At least I'd get to spend my 30th FREE. Hmmm decisions."

The force posted his picture on Facebook and said: "Remember this guy?

"Despite promising to hand himself in after 100 days of 'being on the run', we still need to speak to Daley Smith.

"Now he's failed to turn up at court to answer a drugs supply charge.

"He's still wanted in connection with a breach of court order from earlier this year too."

The criminal seems to have decided to make a mockery of the appeal after a Facebook profile purporting to be Smith was created on September 12.

The page regularly updates more than 4,000 social media friends with videos, pictures and memes.

StokeonTrentLive revealed in October that there were plans for a party to celebrate reaching a century .

But it now appears those plans have been pushed back – at least for a few days.

A post put up yesterday details how, according to the police’s paperwork, Daley has been wanted for 85 days and not 100 as was previously claimed.

It reads: “For anyone that’s wondering why there was no live videos or party last night, it’s because on day 86, Cheshire Police came out with their only comment and said ‘Daley is actually on day 71’.

“On actual paperwork that is half true but the same night I ripped my curfew off and left home. Mentally and physically that’s when it started for me but within five to six weeks I managed to sort a court date, didn’t turn up and on their paperwork, my days started from that day.

“So I split the difference at the start of like 30 days or whatever it was and went from day 15 in the middle. So Cheshire Police thank you so much for enticing me to go longer, you are so professional.

“So officially today is day 85 but I’ve actually been on the run in my eyes five to six weeks longer than that because I was still living the stress and away from family back then.

“I’ve got 15 days to sort the biggest party of my life so let’s get planning. I’ve got the maddest venue and it’s going to be mad.”

On the page there are also details of how Smith was apparently nearly captured on two occasions with comparisons to Raoul Moat and Jason Bourne from the Bourne movies.

In a post of more than 800 words, it explains how he was in a garden when he spotted a high-viz jacket before vaulting a fence, diving through nettles, wading through a brook and crossing fields to make it from Crewe to Alsager – all while wearing no shoes.

Other messages make direct taunts to the police saying they will ‘find it easier to find ‘Madeleine Mccann’.

A rap posted last month reads: “Cheshire police have got more chance of finding Madeleine Mcann, I may as well be in Japan, they’ve even been harassing my nan but everything hasn’t gone to plan.

“They’ve f****d with the wrong man, I feel like Peter Pan. So far I don’t know how far I’ve ran but it’s been mad since this journey began.”

In another post on September 26, a photograph of the force helicopter circling above was uploaded with the message: “Last clue. This was me today watching you whilst eating my full English breakfast. I’m waiting for you. We’re going straight to the hospital btw. I have quite a few injuries that need attending to."

And another on September 25 reads: “Cheshire Police have just gone through a door in Crewe for me.

“Not a single person in the house. You’ve already chased me from there lads, I’ve slid out the window twice like Mo Farah. You’re going to have to do a bit better than that.”

The profile has also shared Crewe Police’s Tweet of Smith’s mugshot appealing for the public’s help to find him with the acronym ‘LMFAO’.

And another post reads: “I’m out up Nantwich Road tonight so come and get me Crewe Police. Bet ya can’t.”

South Cheshire Magistrates Court confirmed a warrant was issued for his arrest on July 24.

Smith is wanted for breaching a court order in relation to an appearance in court in May over criminal damage.

Smith was handed a three-month curfew requiring him to be at home between 7pm until 7am from May to August.

However, the court confirmed Smith was absent on various occasions and so a warrant was issued.

Smith has also been charged with possession with intent to supply class B cannabis and concerned with the supply of cocaine, according to police. He is due in crown court in November.
