$600 In Acid Reflux Meds Stolen From Phoenixville Acme: Cops

PHOENIXVILLE, PA — Police are asking for the public's assistance in identifying two suspects in a theft of hundreds of dollars of medicine from the Phoenixville Acme.

The incident occurred on Oct. 11 at around 6:30 p.m.

Surveillance footage from inside the store shows the man, pictured above, stuffing 27 boxes of over the counter acid reflux medication down his pants, police said.

With the woman in the picture at his side, he then walks past the registers and out of the store, according to authorities. They entered a waiting car that was out of range of the surveillance camera and fled the scene.

The total value of the stolen medication is $600.
