Audra McDonald: ‘The Good Fight’ writers might be clairvoyant

Audra McDonald believes that Robert and Michelle King, the co-creators of “The Good Fight,” might have psychic abilities given their knack for nailing real-life social and political issues.

“What I find more than anything is that they write things and then they happen,” McDonald told Page Six at the Paleyfest panel for “The Good Fight” on Monday. “They write something and it happens in real life, so it’s kind of happening in a really strange sort of weird way. ‘Like wait a minute, are you clairvoyant? What psychics do you have on the writing staff that we don’t know about?'”

The second season of “The Good Wife” spinoff featured plotlines about the #MeToo movement, a porn star sleeping with the president and the discovery of a Russian “pee pee tape.”

“We seem to be ahead of the curve, so hopefully that trend will continue so that we’re not behind when something happens,” McDonald added.
