WALTON, Ore. - Have you seen Dennis and Colleen Weaver?

Family members reported the Eugene residents missing early Wednesday morning after they failed to return home from a trip foraging for mushrooms in the Coast Range.

The couple was last seen Tuesday around noon when they left town to hunt for mushrooms in the Clay Creek area, outside Walton.

"The couple was expected back later that night but never returned," the sheriff's office said.

Family members reported them missing at 2:06 a.m. Wednesday.

Units from Lane and Douglas counties have mounted a ground search.

The sheriff made a public appeal for help Wednesday night from anyone who might have seen the Weavers.

They were last seen driving a 2004 tan/gold Chevrolet Blazer with Oregon license plate 757 BPP.

The Blazer has stickers of an American flag and a wolf sticker on the rear window.

The sheriff's office described Colleen Weaver, 53, as a white female, 5-foot-6 tall and 165 pounds with brownish-gray hair and brown eyes.

Dennis Weaver, 60, is a white male, 5-foot-9 and 160 pounds with long, black hair, brown eyes, and a mustache and beard.

Anyone who has seen Colleen or Dennis Weaver, or their vehicle, is asked to call (541) 682-4141.
