Mid-Island was issued its brand new Mid-Atlantic uniforms and they're looking pretty sporty.
The Travis loop was forced to travel to Williamsport, Pa., immediately after its 4-0 Mid-Atlantic Regional victory over Maryland on Sunday and it received its new apparel on Monday morning.
The uniform jerseys are primarily blue with 'Mid-Atlantic' in white across the front with a red background. Each player's number, also white, is in the lower right corner of the front.

The hats are also primarily blue with 'MA" across the front in red. The bill of the cap is also red.
The uniform pants are white.
"They're nice ... I like them,'' said Mid-Island manager Joe Calabrese of his team's new threads. "It's a nice design, I like that the colors are red, white and blue.
"The kids like them a lot.''
Mid-Island, which is 15-0 since starting All-Star play on June 29, begins World Series play at 3 p.m. Thursday when it meets Grand View LL of Des Moines, Iowa ... the Midwest champion.
