‘Page Six TV’ co-host dishes on digging up celebrity dirt

Elizabeth Wagmeister, who dishes the showbiz dirt weeknights on “Page Six TV,” says she’s not a gossip in real life.

“You see things all the time,” she says. “A few weeks ago I was going to the Frieze Art Fair and I was sitting next to Kim Cattrall on the ferry [to Randall’s Island] and I wanted to ask her questions. Then I decided, I’m going to wear my human hat and not be a reporter for an hour.”

Balancing the personal and professional is a full-time job for Wagmeister, 27. “I’m not covering the personal lives of celebrities,” she says. “I’ve been at Variety for three-and-a-half years now. At any industry event, [celebs] anticipate that they’ll be talking to me. They know the work I do is not out to get them.”

Wagmeister has been with the series — along with co-hosts Carlos Greer and Bevy Smith — since the fall of 2017, when it was picked up following a prior summer preview. Since that time, she’s moved to New York from LA.

“I think the show has evolved nicely and organically,” she says. “Getting used to doing the grind of a daily show takes time.”
