Comedian/actor Adam Ferrara, of ‘Top Gear,’ ‘Nurse Jackie’ fame, to headline Spokane Comedy Club

For six years, Adam Ferrara could more often than not be found behind the wheel of a car.

As one of three hosts of the American version of “Top Gear,” the actor and comedian pushed cars to their limits while participating in a variety of challenges that took him and co-hosts Tanner Foust and Rutledge Wood everywhere from the Pacific Coast Highway to Minnesota to New York City to Iceland.

In the meantime, he also made regular appearances on “Nurse Jackie” and “Rescue Me,” and, more recently, has guest starred on “Kevin Can Wait,” “Criminal Minds” and “Deception.”

But when he’s not on set, Ferrara is onstage performing standup.

He has been nominated for the American Comedy Award for Best Male Stand-Up twice and has three Comedy Central specials under his belt.

He also has performances on “The Tonight Show” and “The Late Show with David Letterman” and at Carnegie Hall, Radio City Music Hall and the Apollo Theater to boot.

Ferrara is big on getting to know his fans too; he hosts “Talk to Me Tuesday” every week on Facebook Live and holds meet and greets after every show. Spokane fans can say hi after his Thursday and June 1 performances at Spokane Comedy Club.
