Ryan Aber

Bowl season began Saturday with a six-bowl slate and every bowl game—from the Celebration Bowl to the College Football Championship Game on Jan. 7—will feature some connection to Oklahoma. Here is a rundown on some of those connections among the teams not based in Oklahoma. Know of one we missed? Let us know by e-mailing Ryan Aber at raber@oklahoman.com. Connections generally include players and on-field coaches unless the search needed to expand beyond that to find a connection to the state.
