The Prince's Trust to Sell Celebrity Outfits Donated By Mick Jagger, Lionel Richie, Rod Stewart, Joan Collins, Britney Spears & Others

The Prince's Trust believes that every young person deserves the chance to succeed - so to raise funds for its work it is auctioning a collection of spectacular showbiz outfits of leading musicians and actors with Julien's Auctions' upcoming ICONS & IDOLS: ROCK-N-ROLL auction event on Saturday, November 10 live in Hard Rock Café in New York and online at juliensauctions.com. A marquee lineup featuring of items donated by Britney Spears, Lionel Richie, Mick Jagger, Rod Stewart, Joan Collins, Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne and more will star on the auction stage.

The mission of The Prince's Trust is to help 11 to 30 year olds who are unemployed or struggling at school, to transform their lives. The Trust programme helps with practical advice and financial support, building confidence and stabilizing lives, helping young people to achieve their potential. Founded by HRH The Prince of Wales, the charity has helped some 900,000 young people since 1976 and supports 100 more each day. The sale by Julien's Auctions will provide 100% of hammer price directly to the charity.

Celebrity memorabilia is one of the most bouyant parts of the collectables market at auction says Darren Julien, chairman of the company that will be selling these glamorous items: "If you have always wanted to own something worn by one of your heroes, a rock music legend, actor or performer, this is your opportunity to achieve that dream while assisting The Prince's Trust to help do something great for young people in Britain."

The items for sale were all worn during the performance careers of this star studded cast of singers and actors, all of whom have a huge international following with many millions of fans. Their support for The Prince's Trust is evidence of their great respect for the work of the Trust in changing lives.
