Firm Principal Tom Giannone, based in New Jersey, and Steve Bleiweiss, a senior vice president in the Metropark office, will lead the group along with San Diego-based Principal Brian Cooper and Jerry Keeney, principal and managing director of that office.

Unveiled Wednesday, the group will be made up of 17 leasing professionals and cover 10 regional markets throughout the U.S., Canada, Mexico and Europe.

“Our new life sciences specialty practice group has created a transparent, risk-averse model that enables us to work with our clients’ internal resources on either a single transaction or for their entire portfolio,” Giannone said in a release.

Avison Young is headquartered in Toronto, with an office in New Jersey.
