Rain, Rain, And More Rain Coming To Arlington

ARLINGTON, VA -- Sadly, it appears last week's rainy weather is going to carry over this week here in Arlington. But the weekend does look nice, at least.

Four out of the five weekdays have a chance of rain, starting Monday with showers expected in the late afternoon and into the evening. The rain will turn heavy late, with up to an inch possible.

Those rains will continue into Tuesday, with a chance of showers throughout the day. Finally, they clear up and result in a sunny albeit cold Wednesday, with highs in the low 40s.

The rain returns on Thursday and Friday, before giving way to mostly sunny conditions on Saturday and Sunday.

It's going to be cold. The highest that highs will get is in the low 50s, on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday, with all the other days topping out in the 40s.

Tuesday
Rain likely before 10am, then a chance of showers between 10am and 4pm. Cloudy, with a high near 52. Northwest wind 6 to 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.

Cloudy during the early evening, then gradual clearing, with a low around 33. Northwest wind 10 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
