Crime Stoppers: Reward offered in theft from Grove City jewelry store

Grove City police say this man stole a tennis bracelet valued at nearly $7,000 from the Kay Jewelers store on Aug. 31. Anyone with information is asked to call Central Ohio Crime Stoppers.

Central Ohio Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information leading to the arrest of a man who stole a tennis bracelet from a Grove City jewelry store last month.

According to Grove City police, the man walked into Kay Jewelers, 4151 Buckeye Parkway, on Aug. 31 and asked to see the bracelet.

When the man was given the bracelet to look at, he ran from the store with it, police said. The bracelet was valued at $6,999.

Anyone recognizing the man in the photo provided by Crime Stoppers, or who has information about the theft, is asked to call Central Ohio Crime Stoppers at 614-461-TIPS; submit a tip to www.stopcrime.org; or use the free P3 Tips application on mobile devices.
