THOMASVILLE, Ga. — Heather Caldwell of Moultrie has been named dining services director of Legacy Village at Plantation Manor, a personal care and memory care community serving Thomasville, Ga.

In this role, Caldwell will oversee ongoing recruiting and training of dietary staff to ensure that residents enjoy healthy, great-tasting meals and a satisfying, uplifting dining experience.

A certified Food Safety Professional, Caldwell enjoys more than a decade of experience working in hospital and nursing home kitchen environments, including seven years with Healthcare Service Group and six years with Colquitt Regional Medical Center. She is especially skilled at preparing menus while ensuring adherence to dietary and food safety standards.

Caldwell is an FSP certified Food Safety Manager and has completed nearly 60 credit hours through the National Registry of Food Safety Professional’s E-learning program. She trained for three years under Chef Jack Green with S&S Cafeterias, a Southern dining chain.

Caldwell lives in her hometown, Moultrie, Ga., with her husband Keon and their two children, Breanna and KJ.
