The couple had just returned home from going to the movies with family when the shooting occurred, according to family members.

“Every day we have to live underneath this, everyday. So maybe if we get the violence stopped, you know what I’m saying, it’ll be easier. It’s just everyday how we live in our neighborhood,” the woman’s niece Connie Powell said.

The husband was not injured during the incident.

The men were described as black and driving a dark colored sedan, the release stated.
