Lindsay Lohan is in a London hospital battling a mosquito-borne virus contracted during a holiday trip to Bora-Bora.

“She could hardly stand up, she was in so much pain,” a source close to the “Mean Girls” star told the Daily News Wednesday.

“But she’s in a great hospital now. It’s the one recommended by the queen,” the source said, adding that Lohan recently was in Los Angeles shooting a commercial for Esurance.

Lohan, 28, checked into King Edward VII’s Hospital with a high fever and joint pain, TMZ.com first reported.

“She was getting better, but with all the traveling, it wore her down, so the virus acted up again. It was like a relapse,” the source close to Lohan told The News.

Lohan previously revealed on social media that she contracted Chikungunya on her island getaway.

The CDC recently issued a Chikungunya advisory to travelers, saying more than 51,100 cases of the disease have been reported in French Polynesia since the start of an outbreak in October.

There are no antiviral medicines to treat the disease, only medicines to reduce the fever and pain.

Most patients feel better within a week, but some may develop long-term joint pain, the CDC warns.

Lohan’s mom Dina Lohan did not immediately respond to an inquiry from The News.

Dad Michael Lohan declined to comment beyond praising his daughter for her bravery.

“She didn’t want to go in the hospital. She’s not the type to go to a hospital. But it was that bad. She had to go in,” he said.

The former Disney star has been living in London since last year and recently appeared in the West End production of David Mamet’s 1988 play “Speed the Plow.”
