Lindsay Lohan's downward spiral continued as she missed her flight to Los Angeles where she was set to appear in court.

Lohan is already being charged with lying to police after she was involved in a car crash on the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu during the summer.

Lohan was supposed to fly of New York City on Saturday night but the 26-year-old missed her flight to Los Angeles and it is not clear if she got on another one.

A source told TMZ that the actress went to a club called the Red Door in midtown Manhattan to see the band City of the Sun instead of boarding her flight.

Lohan is set to appear in court at 8:30 a.m. A source later told TMZ that while Lohan's original flight was at 6:00 p.m. ET, she decided to take a later flight with her mother, Dina. It is not clear if she got on the later flight

Even if she does show up to court on time, it is not clear if she'll have someone to represent her. Her long-time lawyer Shawn Holley quit earlier this year and her current counsel, Mark Heller, was being questioned on his knowledge of California law as he currently practices in New York. Lohan hired him after her lawyer left.

Heller sought assistance from California law firm Wallin & Klarich who offered David Wohl. Wohl agreed to take the case but Lohan never signed off on the exchange.

"We are awaiting Ms. Lohan's approval," partner Paul Wallin told the Los Angeles Times.

This isn't the first time Lohan missed an important flight. She missed her court date in 2010 because she claimed to lose her passport. In April, Kohan also missed her flight to D.C. for the White House Correspondents' Dinner.
