Richland County Foundation gives $232,000

MANSFIELD – The Richland County Foundation Board of Trustees approved grants totaling more than $232,000 during its August board meeting. Grants were awarded from donor-advised and donor-designated funds at the suggestion of the donors to several organizations.

Grants went to Ashland University, for the Blackfork Wetlands project; Catholic Charities, for its Food Pantry; Friendly House, for children’s activities; the Lucas Local School District, for supplies and band instruments; the Mansfield Art Center, for an Ocie Hill program; Mansfield Malabar School’s GoMath, for 4th through 6th grades and for Mansfield Malabar School Math Literacy Nights; Neos Dance Group for program support; North Central State College scholarships; the Opening Doors Program; OhioHealth MedCentral Hospice, for program support; Ohio State University-Mansfield scholarships; Plymouth-Shiloh Schools, for educational supplies; Rehab Center/Catalyst Company Renovations; Richland Academy for the Arts Instruments, for equipment; Richland Newhope program support; the St. James Episcopal Church capital campaign; the St. Paul Lutheran Church roof project; St. Peter’s School scholarships; and the Salvation Army Food Pantry.
