Earlier today, fans scurried to participate in Warner Bros.’ viral marketing campaign to unveil the new trailer, one frame at a time, for “The Dark Knight Rises.”
After collecting images and clues distributed online, fans were asked to email and tweet their findings, along with designated hashtags, to unfold the latest Batman teaser, which you can now view below.
The third DKR trailer will also be playing in front of Disney/Marvel’s “The Avengers” this Friday.
Directed by Christopher Nolan, “The Dark Knight Rises” is the final chapter in the helmer’s Batman franchise and stars Christian Bale, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Gary Oldman and Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
WB’s highly-anticipated tentpole arrives in Imax July 20.
