New Dark Knight Rises Trailer Arrives Online

Earlier today a viral campaign for The Dark Knight Rises began. All around the world, little chalk markings of bats were left and it was left up to fans to find them, photograph them, and send them to a special Twitter account. With each new photograph, a new frame of the trailer was revealed at TDKR07202012.com. The final chalk marking has been found. The final photograph has been sent. And now we get a brand new trailer for The Dark Knight Rises.

Watch the trailer below and prepare to grow the biggest goosebumps you've ever felt in your entire life.

Holy shit. That was honestly one of the most thrilling trailers I've ever seen, if not just because of the way it chooses to use music and incredible visuals instead of a lot of dialogue. We also finally get to hear Joseph Gordon-Levitt say something (who are you, John Blake?) and there's plenty of stuff from the footage I got to see last week at CinemaCon. It just doesn't get any better.

The Dark Knight Rises ships to theaters on July 20th. For more about the movie, head over to our Blend Film Database.
