Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins of girl group TLC has updated fans on the lawsuit against them filed by their former manager Perri "Pebbles" Reid after Reid claimed she was misrepresented in their VH1 biopic CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story.

VH1 Releases Statement, Says CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story Was A 'Fictional Portrayal' Amid Drama With Perri 'Pebbles' Reid

T-Boz spoke with Bossip Wednesday and said, "No I was not surprised by the lawsuit. Because Ms. Perri Reid is real unique, ok? She's somebody to me who is..You know those kind of people who can't get over anything?

And like 20 years ago is like yesterday to them? I mean, if that's what she feels she has to do, that's fine. I'm too old for this. She's way too old for this.

It's really sad because it's based on feelings. There was no slander. It was just us telling our story at 19. I'm older now. I'm not tripping about what happened at 19, I'm just telling a story. It had nothing to do with her. It wasn't personal. If I was slandering her I would really tell the things I know, and trust me, I know a lot."

Just after the film aired in October 2013, Reid accused T-Boz and Rozanda "Chilli" Thomas of portraying her incorrectly as she was seen as a harsh manager who stole millions from the girls and only paid them $25 a week when they were first discovered.

Since then, she filed a lawsuit at the price tag of $40 million, accusing the girls of lying.
