Nitty Gritty Dirt Band songs such as “Mr. Bojangles,” “I Saw the Light,“ and “Fishin’ in the Dark,” have topped the charts, and in 2005, Hanna received a Grammy for co-writing the Rascal Flatts hit, “Bless the Broken Road.”
