Gisele Bündchen retired from the runway in 2015, her last show taking place in her homeland of Brazil for Colcci during São Paulo Fashion Week. "I am grateful that at 14, I was given the opportunity to start this journey. Today after 20 years in the industry, it is a privilege to be doing my last fashion show by choice and yet still be working in other facets of the business," Gisele wrote on her Instagram account underneath a backstage shot from one of her first experiences. Gisele has by no means been a stranger to the fashion industry. In fact, she's still considered one of the most iconic women in fashion and is a role model to many young, budding supermodels.

While we don't go to runway shows anticipating an appearance from the 39-year-old mom of two at this point, there was a time in the early 2000s when it was the norm. Gisele was a Victoria's Secret Angel (her final walk was in 2006), and she routinely took the catwalk for Marc Jacobs and Colcci, with memorable moments at Dior, Givenchy, Chanel, and Balenicaga in between.
