Colts Neck jewelry thief busted: Cops

COLTS NECK - Police have arrested a Tinton Falls man they believe burglarized four homes since July.

Paul L. Procopio, 31, is facing dozens of charges of theft and burglary, according to records from the Monmouth County jail, where he was locked up Wednesday.

"Mr. Procopio was identified as a suspect after being recorded on one of the resident's video surveillance system," according to a post on the Colts Neck police department's Facebook page. "Procopio entered the residences when no one was home and primarily took jewelry."

Detective Sgt. Paul Santucci and Detective Rich Zarrillo arrested Procopio Tuesday, police said.
