Geraldine B. (Vaccarelli) Andrews, age 66, of Otter Cove Rd., Old Saybrook died Saturday, (July 13, 2002) at Middlesex Hospital in Middletown. She was the the beloved wife of Henry LeRoy Andrews. Daughter of the late Jerry J. and Eleanor C. (Murry) Vaccarelli. She was born in Ticonderoga NY, on June 21,1936. Mrs. Andrews was a graduate of Catholic Central High School in Troy, NY. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry from Russell Sage College in Troy. Following working as a chemist and raising three sons, she became a real estate broker, both in MA, and CT. Mrs. Andrews was a parishioner of St. Johns Church in Old Saybrook. Besides her husband Roy of 45 years she is survived by two sons, Colonel Henry L. Andrews Jr. U.S.A.F. and his wife, Deborah L. Andrews of McGuire Air Force base in NJ, and Matthew J. Andrews of Old Saybrook. Two grandsons Derek S. and Garrett J. Andrews both of NJ. An uncle Bernard Murray; and aunt Dorothy. Mrs. Andrews is also survived by several nieces, nephews; and cousins. Predeceased by a son, Gerald J. Andrews. Calling hours for Mrs. Andrews will be held for family and friends at the Swan Funeral Home, 1224 Boston Post Rd., Old Saybrook, Tuesday, July 16, from 4-6 p.m. A Mass of Christian will be celebrated Thursday July, 18, at Our Lady of Victory Church, Marshland Court Dr. Troy NY, at 9:30 a.m. Family and friends may call at the Morris-Stebbins Minor- and Sanvidge Funeral Home at 312 Hoosick St., Troy, NY, Wednesday from 7-9. Burial will be Private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Martyr’s Shrine in Auriesville NY, 12016.
