Four men are facing charges following an Aug. 20 break-in, according to a news release from the Sanilac County Sheriff Department.

Deputies responded to the 5000 block of Brady Road in Wheatland Township for a breaking and entering alarm about 4:20 a.m. Monday. Deputies determined that multiple storage buildings had been broken into, the release said. They also found a vehicle nearby that the property owner said did not belong on the property.

Deputies contacted the St. Clair County Sheriff Department for police dog tracking assistance. The handler and dog successfully found two suspects in a cornfield. A third suspect was found about a mile away from the scene, and the fourth was taken into custody when he called to report his vehicle stolen.

The suspects, Dennis Reaume, 28, Brian Reaume, 24, both of Avoca, and Nicholas Reaume, 29, of Croswell, and Michael Trombley, 27, of Applegate, are facing charges of breaking and entering and conspiracy to commit breaking and entering.  All four suspects have bonded out, the news release said.
