A young Lanarkshire woman has turned to the public for help in paying for a breast reduction procedure.
Jasmin-Alexandra Vlassi, from Stonehouse in South Lanarkshire, is desperate to have her chest size reduced from a staggering 32K because of a rare bone disease she says is getting worse because of her large breasts.
Sharing the appeal on her Facebook page this week, she told her followers: “I was really hesitant about making one of these and I hope I don’t offend anyone by doing. I know there are much bigger causes that require attention than this. If anyone is able to help even by sharing this for me, I would appreciate it so much.”
On her appeal page, she added: “I’m not the richest of the bunch and I have had to make the choice to go private to receive a breast reduction I have longed for since I was young.
“I won’t write my sob story as I don't want to bore anyone. I would love if anyone could spare even a tiny amount to help towards the cost.
“I have a £1,000 deposit to pay and the other few thousand I will be able to pay up.
“Any help would be greatly appreciated and if anyone has any questions or anything please send a message.
“The amount of girls I’ve had saying they'd like to do the same is unreal. I’d love to help anyone I can.”

With a goal of £100, so far, Jasmin has managed to raise £270.
According to the Daily Record, the cost of the procedure would be an eye-watering £7,000.
Jasmin said the disease, Chronic Recurrent Multifocal Osteomyelitis, is “similar pain to arthritis.”
She told the paper: “Having a large bust never really helped with the pain in my bones, as they added on to the weight.”
