MUNCIE — To celebrate National Cancer Survivors Day, cancer survivors are invited to attend a reception at IU Health Ball Memorial Cancer Center 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. May 28 and 31.

Refreshments will be served, and survivors can pick up a survivor certificate and sign up for Relay for Life activities. Survivor certificates also can be picked up at IU Health Ball Memorial Cancer Center or Little Red Door Cancer Agency May 28-31.

On National Cancer Survivors Day, June 2, two local businesses will honor cancer survivors. Concannon’s Bakery, located on Baker Lane, and Wasson Nursery's Muncie and Union City locations will have special gifts for cancer survivors who present survivor certificates.

This celebration of survivorship is a partnership between Little Red Door, IU Health Ball Memorial Cancer Center and American Cancer Society.
