OLD Malton St Mary’s Football Club has received a donation of over £500 to kit out its U16s team for next season.
Marcus Lee, U16s manager, said: "We're thrilled with this donation from Taylor Wimpey.
"It means a lot to the team, who have been playing together for over seven years.
"The new strip looks great and the team is really excited. Having professional-looking kits has really given them a boost for the coming season."
Old Malton St Mary’s FC was established in 1906. The club has a thriving junior section with around 80 youngsters from the area playing across six age groups. The club also has two senior teams, the first team won the North Riding County FA County Cup last season.
Debbie Whittingham, sales and marketing director at Taylor Wimpey North Yorkshire, added: "We’re proud to sponsor an award-winning club, like Old Malton St Mary’s FC, as it allows young people to take part in sport, stay active and learn the importance of teamwork.
"We wish the team the best of luck with the upcoming season and hope they enjoy playing in their new kits."
