Samsung has just announced a new smartphone, the Galaxy M11. This handset was announced silently, as the information about the device has been uploaded to the Samsung UAE website.

The company did not release a press release to go with it, or anything of the sort. That is not all that surprising, however, Samsung did it before.

In any case, the Galaxy M11 is a budget phone. This handset is made out of polycarbonate, and it includes a ‘chin’ below the display. The phone also sports a display camera hole in the top-left corner.

Its bezels are fairly thin, especially for a phone in this price range. There are three cameras included on the back of this phone, along with a capacitive fingerprint scanner. Samsung’s branding is also noticeable on the back.

The Samsung M11 comes with an LCD display, 3GB of RAM & three rear cameras

The Samsung Galaxy M11 features a 6.4-inch LCD HD+ display. The phone is fueled by an octa-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz. We do not know what chip that is exactly, but it’s probably one of Samsung’s Exynos processors.

The device also packs in 3GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable storage. A 13-megapixel camera with an f/1.8 aperture lens is the main shooter on this phone. It is backed by a 5-megapixel ultrawide camera (f/2.2 aperture lens, 115-degree FoV).

The last camera on the back is a 2-megapixel depth camera (f/2.4 aperture lens). That camera should improve portrait shots. It’s also worth noting that this phone is limited to 30fps fullHD+ video recording.

An 8-megapixel camera sits on the front side of the phone. That camera comes with fixed focus, and it’s placed behind an f/2.0 aperture lens.

The device packs in a large 5,000mAh battery

The Samsung Galaxy M11 packs in a 5,000mAh battery. You can charge that battery through a USB Type-C port on the bottom of the device. A 3.5mm headphone jack is also included on this phone, by the way.

The phone also supports Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity, but does not include an NFC chip. 4G LTE connectivity is supported, and there are two SIM card slots as well.

The device weighs 197 grams, and it comes in three color variants, Black, Blue, and Violet. You can check out all of those color options in the gallery down below.

We still do not know the price tag of the device, but chances are it’s quite affordable. This phone is expected to make its way to a number of other countries in the coming weeks.
